Hi @Envirobi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand how important it is for your games to run smoothly, and we're sorry to hear that PUBG is not launching after installing the OMEN Gaming Hub. We’ll do our best to assist you with this.

After reviewing your situation, it’s possible that certain features or services enabled by OMEN Gaming Hub—such as Game Optimiser, performance overlays, or background enhancements—may be conflicting with PUBG, particularly with the game’s anti-cheat services.

Here are a few steps we recommend:

  1. Disable OMEN Gaming Hub Features Temporarily
    • Open the OMEN Gaming Hub app.
    • Navigate to any features like Game Optimizer, Network Booster, or Performance Control, and temporarily turn them off.
    • Restart your PC and try launching PUBG again.

  2. Run PUBG as Administrator
    • Right-click the PUBG shortcut and select Run as administrator to ensure it has the necessary permissions.

  3. Check Compatibility with Anti-Cheat
    • PUBG's anti-cheat system may block third-party utilities running in the background. Disabling OMEN Hub from starting up automatically may help:
      • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
      • Under the Startup tab, disable OMEN Gaming Hub and restart your system.

  4. Ensure All Drivers and Software Are Up to Date
    • Please open HP Support Assistant and check for any pending updates related to drivers, BIOS, or OMEN software.
    • Also, ensure that Windows and your graphics drivers are fully updated.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please let us know

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
