HP Pavilion 15-P257NL
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows update has detected the Windows 11 update.

The PC Integrity Check tools has highlighted two problems to perform the update:

1. TPM 2.0 is not installed on the computer

2. The Processr Intel i7 5500U is not supported

Regarding the TPM 2.0, I would understand how I can enable it. I have checked inside the Bios but I have not identified the feature.

Regarding the Processor, I have read that the list is related to the processor that the manufacturer should use for new design and probably there is no problem to update windows 11 in a computer with the processor listed above.

The last topic is that if it is not possible to implement the update from windows 10 to windows 11, there is no future update available for windows 10 with high risk for security.

How Can I activate the TPM 2.0?

Hi:

Your notebook does not come with a TPM security device.

You can see this discussion below where another forum member installed W11 in a notebook with similar hardware as yours, using the guidance I provided, with no problem.  No TPM and and unsupported processor.
