OMEN by HP - 15-ce005nl serie: 5CD7336D2W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm looking for help cause I'm struggling for days without finding solutions related to the oculus rift cv1 headset that is not giving back any image once plugged in via hdmi.

Everything is recognized and working : the two sensors, controller, I have audio on the headset but no Image on the visor, I only see the orange light on the headset that react when I put the Hand in front of it.

My laptop is "vr ready" according to geforce experience. My notebook is:
Hp Omen I7 7700hq design, GeForce 1060 6 gb maxq design, 16 gb ram, nvme 500 gb. I've got a minidisplay port too, I've  tryed to connect the visor there via adaptor instead of plugging it directly via hdmi (the adaptor wasn't 4k conpatible) with no luck, I've also tried a usb type c to hdmi adapter (this time 4k compatible), same no luck, all recognized but no  video feed inside the headset.

Can you tell me if a rift cv1 can be plugged and work with an hdmi to mini display port adaptor on my Omen laptop?
And again, the questioned adaptor should be at least  2k or 4k compatible ? Or else can you suggest me a link for the best adaptor that will surely (hopefully) work in my situation ?
I've already tried several steps, I'm not at risk of using integrated gpu, in device managment the only video card shown is my gtx 1060 6gb maxq design(I also ensured priority of video card in geforce managment, especially under "phisix"), in bios there are no settings related to optimus or switching between integrated or dedicated card. The usb where I plug the visor is a 3.1 lightning type so I assume we can exclude power relating issues.
Now, one thing oculus support suggested is to  update the VBIOS that enables HDCP on the DisplayPort and to to do so, I came here because the notebook is hp and I read of  others with their vcards obteined the download for the new firmware to be flashed and resolved this same issue of mine. I also know that I have to give my actual ID Board ( Gp106) and my actual   vBios version  (86.06.4B.00.29) to know if there is some new  firmware for my video card.
Please I need your help and past experience, I really would like to know if there is something that can be done or else I'll have to abandon hope to use oculus rift cv1 on this gaming notebook.
The funny thing is that my cv1 work well with a desktop i5 3rd generation, gtx 1050 Ti and not with my gaming laptop  omen 15" which is the one that I'm struggling to get working with the headset.
