Office 365 Subscription activation on new laptop

Hello there guys,
I have bought a new stream laptop and when I ordered it, it was stated that it will come with a 1 year free Microsoft Office 365 Subscription,

I had to reload the OS from scratch, removing the previous instance, and need to know how I can activate my Office 365 subscription as I was unable to do this prior to the OS reinstall.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

If there was something different about the software package itself, that is, if there was somehow an embedded license file in the unopened Office software, it is lost.

If the subscription promise came with a license to activate the software,

If you purchased the computer from HP,

Look for the license key in the purchase email and / or the followup confirmation / shipping email.

What else?

Contact Microsoft - plead you case.

Offer whatever proof you have that the subscription was offered on this machine with its purchase.
