@Shubhransu, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Your Microsoft Account for a Valid License

Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Sign in with the same Microsoft account you used previously.

Look under "Subscriptions" or "Products you've purchased".

Or a license tied to your account.

If nothing shows up here, it means your previous Office installation was not tied to your Microsoft account, or it was activated with a product key that's now lost.

Check If Office is Activated

Open Word or Excel.

Go to File > Account.

Look under the "Product Information" section.

If it says “Product Activated” with the right version (e.g., Office 2021), you're good.

If it says “Subscription required”, “Buy now”, or “View only”, your Office is not activated.

Reinstall the Correct Version of Office

If you had a perpetual license (like Office 2019 or 2021), do this:

Go to: Sign in

Under your products, you should see an option to Download Office.

Download and install it from there to get the correct version without ads.

Activate Office with a Product Key (if applicable)

If you had a product key (from a retail box or email), you can re-enter it:

Go to: Setup Office - Office 365 Redemption

Sign in and enter the key to activate the product again.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
