Omen 15-dh0001nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Omen Command Center gives an error dialog when I press the Omen Key. It says "This application cannot run in administrator mode". However, I did not run it as admin. It does this after the win 10 October 2020 update.

tried uninstalling with revo and reinstalling, updated to the last 10.4.7.0 version, still nothing, same issue.

A fix recommended by

is to set the UAC (user account control) to the default setting.

press windows key + R, type msconfig, g to tools tab, second on the list is Change UAC settings, Launch, toggle to the second position from the top- that would be the default.
