I have a HP Pavilion with intel core i5 and nvidia gpu. Whenever i bootup into windows, the following dialog box appears when the desktop appears -

                                                                                                Capture.JPG

Please kindly help me and clarify as to why this happens and is there any way  to prevent this dialog box permanently.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?

In Windows, search for an open Uninstall program.

On the Programs and Features window, select HP Support Assistant, then click Uninstall.

Figure: Uninstall HP Support Assistant

Uninstall screen from the Control Panel with HP Support Assistant highlighted

Click Yes on the Programs and Features screen to confirm you want to uninstall HP Support Assistant.

Figure: Uninstall confirmation

Confirmation screen to uninstall HP Support Assistant with Yes selected

Restart your computer to complete the process. When the uninstall process is complete, open a web browser, and go to the HP Support Assistant website to reinstall.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
