On-display notification for privacy switch

HP Recommended
hp envy x360 15m-dsxxxxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After I clean installed windows on my pc, I used to get an on-screen notification whenever I turn my camera privacy switch on or off, but now nothing happens, although the switch works and functions fine. I really liked the on-screen notification because I don't have to look for the switch's red colour to know privacy is on. Please help me. my model number is 15m-ds0011dx

@phesty

I'm presuming that you got the Win10 media from someone other than HP, right?

If that is the case, you did this to yourself -- by forcing a clean install with Windows media that does NOT provide the HP drivers your laptop needs to ensure full functionality.  MS does not provide those drivers.
