Product: HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3X9AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
On the motherboard of my HP laptop 15dw300, I've noticed several empty connectors. One is clearly intended for the fingerprint sensor, and another for the SATA SSD. However, I'm unsure about the function of the third empty connector. Could you help me understand its function and if it's possible to connect another component to it?

Your model's user guide (pages 51 to 52) shows all cables connected to the motherboard. Do you see an unused connecter you are referring to? Is it possibly #13 (connecter for a backlit KB cable)?
