See other posts regarding HP command center freezing/requiring frequent restart. HP identified known issue related to an update, HP Omen software, and application communication/security. No word on a fix.
If you have not yet, open HP Command center and mess with some of the options. Try changing your performance mode and cooling options. If those work, mess wirh network booster. Attempt to use multiforce. The app will eventually freeze with a notice saying it requires a restart. You might even get a notice you need an update. I downloaded and installed all - still freezes/requires reboot.
I Uninstalled Omen a while ago. Is there a solution to this bug when Omen is no longer installed?
