HP 250 G5 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

250 G5 laptop will only charge when the screen is closed.

I just purchased a new replacement battery and my charging cord/adapter is relatively new.

Yes, the battery & cord/adapter are both genuine HP products, and yes they correct the ones.

No this didn't happen after a recent window or software update

No I didn't make any changes in the settings prior to the issue

I don't remember when it worked fine last, but I was using it just fine, I restarted it and the issue began ... Few months ago maybe?

No, it doesn't shut down immediately right after  unplugging the charger... But it doesn't stay on as long as it should

No, I don't get any error messages.

I just ran the battery troubleshooting thing and it fixed:

-Time before  display dims is too long

-Time before display goes to sleep is too long

-Time before computer goes to sleep is too long

Anything I should try that will fix this?

Thanks
