Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Open the Control Panel, then look for "Default Programs".  Change the default "Web Browser" to Internet Explorer.

While @WyreNut is certainly correct about how to choose IE as your browser, if this is a really new PC, it might not even have IE as MS is working hard to force everyone to use Edge Chromium.
