I am from Oman.Non availability of spectre laptops with certain specifications and high price of available models prompted me to make an online store search.I selected a customized model and tried to check out with mastercard which was from Oman and so failed.I tried with paypal account .That failed too.I confirmed that there is no problem from bank and paypal side.Gave a call to Hp customer care and after a lot of time waiting on the line they said there is no problem from their side too.Customer care chat also unhelpful . Don't know what I can do .I badly need one laptop soon !No one really telling me whàt is wrong which I can correct.

You can't order directly from your country which is outside the US. You can ask a retaiter order for you BUT please note: warranty would be a nightmare for you. Please read

"HP Global Warranty covers HP products at the level of standard warranty offered in the country in which it is used. For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B)."

Thank you for the response.Is it possible for me to get it freight forwarded from a local address in US.

Hi,

The proper way: Ask your friends or relatives who LIVE in the US and order for you then send to your country for you. You can't order outside the US EXCEPT for US citizen people who are on holidays or working outside the US.

The system know where you are using your IP address.

Thank you so much .I wasted a lot of time on this unnecessarily.I think I will have to compromise with what is available here .
