Product: Elitebook 8570w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just format my Elitebook 8570w and I'm looking to have the order to reinstall all the drivers. Is there any list or a device manager that I can use ? Please right now just windows 7 is installed and I just updated my bios with the latest driver version on HP download page. Can you help me ?

Hi:

 

The generally agreed upon advice is to install these drivers in this order and restart the PC after installing each driver.

 

Intel chipset installation utility.  That installs the motherboard drivers.

 

Graphics

 

Audio

 

Then you would probably want to install the wireless or ethernet driver next.

 

Then you can install the rest of the drivers in any order you want.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. Now I have a plenty of brands in the ethernet drivers...questions :

 

1. How can I retrive or find my Ethernet model number on my Elitebook 8570w ?

2. What driver should I choose in the list ?

You need this ethernet driver...

 

This package contains the driver installation package for the Intel 82579LM and 82579V Gigabit Ethernet Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
