Original pre-installed software for HP Pavillion dv6 3225dx entertainment PC (Laptop)
02-27-2021 07:05 AM

I have purchased replacement software for my notebook, (HP Pavilion dv6 3225dx) from eBay 2 times and neither set of software work to reinstall the original software package that came with the computer. My interest is to be able to find the software and reinstall it back to its original content before moving forward. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

I have no way to do that -- and I would advise against forcing a BIOS update as those all to often trash the PC.

Sorry, but at this late date, that software is simply not available anymore. HP has stopped carrying Recovery Media for your model, as have the third-party recovery media suppliers.

I took your advice and DID NOT try to upgrade BIOS. However this morning I turned my laptop on and it say there is no operating system found. I ran a hard disk test and they all come back as passed.
I used a buddies computer to download the win10 iso media onto a usb flash drive. But to no avail it does not load up to reinstall windows.
do you have anything that can help me get this tank up and running again.
most appreciated if you have any suggestions that will work.
