@Shivam22,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Have you tried charging your laptop using an alternate adapter?

Let's try to update the Bios, Chipset and thermal framework on your PC from our HP support website, using this link or download it using HP Support Assistant.

You may also try to update the Firmware for Intel Platform ME Firmware Update from our HP support website.

Also, try updating the other drivers on your PC using HP support assistant and check if it helps.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.

Thanks to you,

I tried updating BIOS from the HP support assistant..

While updating it asked me for restart and subsequently I gave the permission...

Since than my laptop isn't turning on! 😓

I tried a few suggestions on the HP website for BIOS reset " Win. + B' but none of them seems to be working!!

@Shivam22,

This looks like a possible hardware failure with the Notebook. However, I would recommend you go through these steps first.

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook.

Before power resetting your computer, do the following:

  1. Disconnect or remove all peripheral devices. Start up the laptop and test the computer by itself, and then reconnect one peripheral device at a time.

  2. Turn over the computer and look for a battery compartment door.

If you're able to access the Bios screen then let's try to restoring the Bios to defaults and check if it works.

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

If you're not able to access the Bios screen then I would suggest you try to perform a Bios recovery on your PC.

For more details, please refer to this support document for - HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)

If the issue still persists refer the video instructions from HP support on how to create a BIOS USB recovery.

Let me know how it goes for further assistance!
