PC Wakes when plugged in

With my lid shut and my PC sleeping, this is verified by the power light on the side which blinks. Once plugged in, the computer wakes because that power light is solid and it is already lit up when opening the lid. What can I do to keep the PC asleep when plugged in?

Please put it to Sleep or Do nothing under Close the lid options for Pluged in
