I encountered a similar issue as another user reported earlier:
Other User:
I have purchased my Spectre x360 last November 2022 and have been encountering problems from the start when trying to Sleep my PC when closing the lid.
In the Control Panel, the settings are put on Sleep PC when closing the Lid, weather my PC is on battery or charging.
However, the PC stays on nonetheless.
I share the same problem, having bought the device in December 2022. Despite configuring all the settings, my PC does not go to sleep when I close the lid. If someone else opens the lid, the PC remains unlocked, and the display stays on. Additionally, the PC tends to heat up quickly when placed in a case, as the fan continues to operate in an attempt to cool it down. In extreme cases, the PC may overheat within the case and shut down automatically before I even reach the library. This not only leaves the device very hot, but also results in a significant loss of battery.
How can i check the sensor or specifically update the drivers for it?
And please don't tell me that you will send me a private message with further instructions. The problem should be fixed in this forum so that anyone can do it on their own.
Best, Sven
