Hello, I have recently upgraded my HP 350 G2 laptop by installing a new Kingston 250GB SSD as the boot drive. Upon the initial boot, I proceeded to install Windows 10 Pro 22H2 v.10.0.19045 build. However, upon checking the Device Manager, I noticed that under the 'Other Devices' tab, the PCI Device, PCI Simple Communications Controller, and SM Bus Controller were not recognized/not installed, indicated by a yellow exclamation mark⚠. Despite my attempts to update and uninstall these controllers (3), the issue persists with no resolution. I don't know where to find these drivers. I don't know if these missing drivers are the cause of freezing and lagging of Windows and other Applications.
I have explored Windows Update, Intel Driver Support & Assistant, and HP Support Assistant, all of which indicate that my system is "up to date." Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the required compatible drivers for the aforementioned controllers. Any guidance on where to find these drivers would be greatly appreciated. I hope this query will raise. Thanks you all guys.

Hi Sir Paul Tikkanen,
I trust you are well. Thank you very much for your help. I've followed all your instructions and it all worked. Woah!
However, in regards for the PCI Device you provided me SP88774 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88501-89000/sp88774.exe & found out your old article from other member SP95557 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95557.exe would there be a problem Sir if I install the latest one (SP95557) instead of old one SP88774?
And for additional Sir, I received an update from HP Support Tool and Intel that I need to update Graphics Driver:
Intel Support Asst.: Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40.48.5171]latest 2/5/2021
HP Support Tool: Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver 10.18.15.4274 Rev.B 10/21/2015
same question for this Sir and are those driver from Intel tool are compatible w/ HP laptops?
Thank you Sir.

You're very welcome.
Yes, I am doing very well, and I hope you are too.
If the Realtek SD card reader driver you found that I posted was for the same hardware ID, it should work fine too.
If your notebook only has the onboard Intel HD graphics, you can try installing the graphics driver the Intel driver and support assistant found,
If it doesn't work, let me know and I will give you the instructions for how to manually update the Intel graphics driver to that driver version on the Intel website.
I have the HP 350 G1 (has the Intel 4th gen core processor) and used the driver from Intel and it worked fine.
I think I had to manually install it though.

Sir Paul hey,
Its been awhile, I've been struggling w/ my laptop lately but I finally managed it with your guide! Thanks very much for all your help! Everything went well and you're very helpful, its really perfect Mate! You such a 5-star HP expert—kudos!
Re. with the graphics driver, I wasn't able to install the latest one, still observing if this is ok instead of updating to a new one, And yeah thank you so much in advance. Glad to hear you'd also HP 350; mine is still kicking out😅, I just upgraded to SSD and used a caddy for HDD.
Thanks once again and hope you have a pleasant day.
