Hi, i have a 15-ay191ms and I know it’s not for games and all, but I would like to know a few things.
First, even if my cpu has the “U” at the end, and it’s locked from what I saw, is there any way to overclock it?
Second, I would like to know it it’s possible to increase the dedicated video ram. I tried it with regedit and didn’t seem to work, after I saw a guy doing it on his BIOS but when I went to try it I found out there is no advanced settings on mine.
Lastly I would like to hear tips or recommendations of how or if it is possible to get a better performance out of this notebook so I can play games better. I already have an SSD and 16 gb of ram.
Thanks in advance!!!

A1. No, you can't overclock CPU of your machine.
A2. Integrated video (iGPU) does not have room for keeping VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required (the number is dynamic, not fix). During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.
The following document shows Max shared RAM for Intel iGPU versions (I can't find a similar list from AMD).

Note: Recently people post Youtube on internet saying they can change using Regedit. Many people try but the results are unpredictable. Probably I did try this.
A3. Two things you may be able to upgrade but those won't help much in terms of games
(a) Add same 8GB existing RAM to slot 2,
(b) Replace 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA with a 2.5" SSD using standard 2.5" SSD's or https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-500gb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e500bw/
