Hello HP Community,

I am consistently experiencing a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 0×133 BSOD on my laptop. I have noticed a pattern: the crash almost always occurs when I have my charger plugged in and Discord is open.
My System Details:
Laptop Model: Victus 15-fa1000 (7N277AV)
OS: Windows 11 Home 25H2
Issue Details:
When it happens: The crash occurs when the laptop is connected to power and Discord is actively running or sometimes randomly as well.
Attempted Fixes: Updated NVIDIA/Intel drivers, Ran sfc/scannow, Reinstalled Discord
I would appreciate any guidance on how to diagnose if this is a hardware-power management issue or a specific driver conflict between the power state and the application.

I cannot find 7N277AV in the HP lookup.  Could you please verify the product ID?

You seem to have done all the right things.  Possibly there is a hardware problem.   Can you run the UEFI diagnostics?  Press F2 when booting and run memory and display tests.

You could also try a factory restore.

HP is removing cloud recovery for system over 5 years old.
The actual wording is a limited time after the warranty expires
You may want to get a copy of the cloud recovery before it is too late.
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go here and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 64gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.
Alternately, download from the MS windows store
