Personalization/Lock Screen

I'd like to put the current weather temp on my lock screen. I have gone into settings-Personalization-Lock Screen. From here as I understand there should be apps(so called) that you can add. On mine there is only calendar and a couple others. No weather. So my question is ":How do I get/find the weather to be added"? On a side note I'd like to have that show on my desktop. Any advice on which widget site is best? I'm looking at Widgets HD from Microsoft. Novice here so please be kind. Thanks
