How to repair problems with the 'Photos' app after upgrading my HP Envy to Windows 11?
- While viewing images, the screen often goes black for several seconds.
- Continuing viewing after deleting an image, the viewer jumps to the first picture in the folder instead of the next picture in sequence.

Welcome to the HP Community --
Photos is a Windows built-in application.
There are a couple of options you can try -
In general, when an app goes completely sideways, I've had better luck with "Reset" as opposed to the "Repair" option.
Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
Scroll down and find or Search for "Photos"
Click the "three dots" on the right of the listing to open the menu > Select Advanced >
Scroll down a bit and select "Reset".
What else?
Upgrading to a new Operating System can leave drivers in a mess --
Perhaps before you Reset Photos...
Make sure all the Windows Updates are finished installing.
and
Make sure your Envy has the appropriate Video drivers installed for Windows 11.
