Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

"Is Windows 10 going to support Bluray? It was sorely missed in Windows 10 and it baffles me how such a basic thing wasn't supported."

"Hi, I brought the  LG WH14NS40 Blu-ray drive to work with my Aurora R3 and Windows 7 and it installed fine and ran well.  With the help of this forum I upgraded the Aurora R3 to Windows 10 including the Anniversary update recently.  From what I have seen on the LG site the WH14NS40 is Win 10 compatible and has latest firmware.  Over the holidays I went to play a few of my Blu-ray discs and had a few issues in that some play and some do not.. Most of my Duke Video IOM TT reviews don't for example 😞 The drive appears in the "This PC" view and plays CDs plus DVDs with no issues that I can see.  I am currently using VLC as my player although I am not married to it so I could change...  Two questions,
1) Anyone seen this before/have any ideas how to solve it?
2) Should I just cut my loses and go for a new Blue Ray drive with software?"

Many users can not play blu-ray movies any more with their exist blu-ray player software after upgrade to Windows 10, so how to deal with it? One is to pay more for the upgrade version; Or to download VLC, which is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various protocols. And by adding AACS and BD+ DRM libraries and keys, VLC can play most of Blu-Ray movies. Here is a complete guide on how to enable VLC to play Blu-Ray in Windows 10.

Others to pay less for an cost-effective and enjoy life-time free upgrade service Blu-ray Player - UFUSoft Blu-ray Player, which is fully supported Windows 10/8/7, bringing Blu-ray movies to Microsoft's latest operating system free for lifetime.
