Hi @zalizo-arm

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the error details and confirming the steps you’ve already taken. The intermittent launch and the System.AccessViolationException suggest the app is attempting to load a machine learning model or memory block that isn’t properly initialized or supported in your ARM64 environment.

Poly Camera Pro may be encountering compatibility or memory access issues on your HP Omnibook ARM64 system. Try isolating the launch conditions, updating dependencies, and adjusting app permissions to stabilize behavior.

Let’s go through a structured set of actions to help stabilize the app.

Confirm ARM64 compatibility

  • Poly Camera Pro may not be fully optimized for ARM64 native execution.
  • If you’re using an emulated x64 version, try installing the ARM64 version (if available) or contact the developer to confirm compatibility.

Run app as administrator

  • Right‑click the Poly Camera Pro shortcut → Properties → Compatibility → Run this program as administrator.
  • This ensures the app has full access to protected memory blocks during model loading.

Disable memory integrity temporarily

  • Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Windows Security → Device Security → Core Isolation.
  • Turn off Memory Integrity and reboot.
  • This allows apps that use low‑level memory access to function without interference.
  • You can re‑enable it after testing.

Update Microsoft ML runtime and dependencies

  • Install the latest Microsoft ML.NET runtime, Visual C++ redistributables, and .NET 7/8 ARM64 packages.
  • These support model loading and memory handling for apps using ML frameworks.
  • Microsoft ML.NET Runtime

Check app permissions and isolation

  • Go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Poly Camera Pro → Advanced options.
  • Ensure Background app permissions are set to “Always.”
  • Clear app cache and reset the app if the option is available.

Use compatibility mode

  • Right‑click the app → Properties → Compatibility → Run in compatibility mode for Windows 10.
  • This may help if the app was built for older Windows versions.

By confirming ARM64 compatibility, adjusting memory protection settings, and updating ML dependencies, you should see more consistent behavior from Poly Camera Pro.
