HP Pavilion - 15-cs0997na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

Is there a way to charge my HP Pavillion without using the power adapter (so maybe a compatible external power bank).

I'm not sure if my laptop has a USB Type-C port for power input.

We've had a few power cuts recently and so being able to charge it when there is no power would be extremely useful. Would also be useful for when away from the home and office.

Many thanks

Its specs

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06076331

It has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) port.

Yes you can charge your machine using a compatible USB-C charger rating 45W or more.

Regards.

Thanks so much - that's really helpful 🙂

So can I just check that either of these would be compatible / suitable? Or maybe you have a better recommendation?
