I recently purchased HP laptop from amazon which included preinstalled Office 2024 lifetime and Microsoft 365 basic for 1 year. But Microsoft 365 basic is useless as it wont allow to edit or save anything on desktop whereas my office 2024 is not found in system anywhere. How to replace Office 365 to Office 2024?

Office 2024 should already be tied to your laptop or Microsoft account. First, sign in at office.com with the Microsoft account you used during setup and check Services & subscriptions to see if Office 2024 appears there. If it does, install it from that page.

Microsoft 365 Basic can’t be “converted” to Office 2024, but it won’t block it either. If Office 2024 doesn’t show up at all, contact HP Support or the Amazon seller so they can activate or reassign the Office license correctly.
