Product: HP ProBook 430 G5 Notebook PC

I am using a 32gb scan disc card in an adapter.  The PC has a card port but nothing happens when I insert the card...

SD cards come is many flavors (SDHC, SDXC, SDUC, etc.) read about it on Wikipedia.

 

I have older card readers, but some can only read smaller/older cards, ie 8G, 16G but <32G.  There are other factors (class, speed, etc.)

 

I recently bought a new external hub and it reads everything.  You can find these on line for anywhere from $10-70 it depends on how many ports the hub has.  I have several, the 11-in-one model can support VGA, HDMI, usb-c, usb-a, SD, ethernet, etc.

 

Everyone needs more ports, look into getting one of these,
