So I bought my mother a laptop for Christmas. She hid it away until I could come back and help her set it up.
While I was away.... My neice found it and decided she wanted to watch movies on it. She went thru and registered the laptop and all the software to herself without our knowledge or permission. I just found this out tonight as we were reading to set it up for my mother.
I managed well to remover my neices admistrator privileges and account from the login, but there's still the issue of the software package, product keys and laptop being registered in her name. Does anyone know how, or who to contact to undo this.
My mother was REALLY looking forward to the products that she would've had that she now will need to pay for due to my neices lack of judgment and respect for others. This includes all the software and the hp care program that was supposed to accompany it upon purchase, that she does not seem to have access to without purchasing new. I do have the original purchase receipt.

We can't help you with applications that she registered; you will have to contact those vendors to make the needed changes.
As for HP, there is nothing we here can do about this. So, for direct contact with HP, your best bet is to contact HP Customer Service to see what they will do for you:
