Purchased a HP Pen to use with my HP Pavilion laptop. Based on information I have found, the the HP Pen should work. However, in the Device Manager, I am missing HID-compliant pen
Have I been miss informed regarding the HP Pen working with my laptop? Is there a way to get the HID-complaint pen driver?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pen. I apologize for the Inconvenience.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- If the issue persists, unpair your digital pen from your computer. Go to Settings, select Devices, and click on Bluetooth and other devices. Remove your pen, and restart your machine. Then go back to Bluetooth and other devices, and press the pair button to pair the devices. Check if the issue persists.
- Launch the Device Manager and expand the Human Interface Devices. Then right-click the Intel Precise Touch Device under HID, and select Uninstall device. Restart your machine, and check if the driver is back.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
