Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello people,

I got my new laptop Hp omen ek0019tx few days back. It comes with Windows 10 Home 64-bit. Im planning to upgrade to upgrade it to windows 10 pro through genuine oem product key. After any OS update will it switch back to windows home edition as it comes with it or it stays in Windows Pro? Please help me with this.

Hi:

 

W10 Pro will remain as long as you don't factory reset the PC.

 

It is not a big deal anyway.

 

Once you have upgraded to W10 Pro you can reinstall it for free at any time as long a you have the product key or digital license for W10 Pro.

 

See the link below for how to upgrade to W10 Pro.  You do not need to clean install it when you upgrade from W10 Home.

 

Upgrade Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro (microsoft.com)
