Hello dear
MODEL : HP OMEN X 17-AP0X
I recently bought this laptop for gaming and programming. My question is, what is the maximum temperature for the CPU and GPU of this laptop during gaming, that is, the temperature that does not damage the system.
And that Omen Hub Center does not have options for fan control and comfort mode temperature control for me
I updated the bios and Windows is the latest update
Please help as soon as possible
CPU: i7-7820hk
GPU: GTX1070 8GB
ram : 16gb
Is this a good laptop?

There are some pictures of the Omen Gaming Hub that seem to show fan control. Do you have that version?
It should be on the microsoft store.

This should be an excellent laptop. It can easily be disassembled for cleaning or to replace fan.

at 100c thermal throttling starts slowing down the CPU
CPU spec is here
Base speed 2.9GHZ is the 35 watts. In turbo mode 45 watts
To keep out of turbo, set the maximum processor speed to %99 from %100. this will extend life of system significantly
To get to the above enter "edit power plan" and select advanced settings
I think the heat comes from the GPU and the above does not affect GPU as the processor is separate.

This device draws 120 watts to keep the fans free of dust bunnies!

Make sure the battery is already charged up fully else it can overheat if charging at same time as playing.
