Good morning again
With my first post I think I wrote too much and now I am asking myself from scratch.
What should I do, because I updated the bios to the latest version, but unfortunately it still shows the same version as installed windows update?
And when I updated the bios I sometimes experience hardware hangs and I have no idea if the tpm 2.0 problem has been fixed.
Again, sorry to ask this question, but I'm a little worried about what I can do.
The steps I've been taking:
(a) restore the previous version of the bios - not possible,
(b) updating the bios to F.32 of December 1 - does nothing.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi @Kamil96500 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering a few issues with your HP Pavilion Gaming laptop after updating the BIOS.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problems:
- Verify BIOS Version: Double-check to ensure that the BIOS update actually went through successfully. Sometimes, the update process can encounter errors, leaving the BIOS version unchanged. You can usually verify the BIOS version by entering the BIOS setup menu during boot (usually by pressing a key like F2, F10, or Del) or by using system information tools within Windows.
- HP Support: Visit the official HP support website for your specific laptop model. There, you can find information about BIOS updates, known issues, and potential solutions. HP often provides detailed instructions for BIOS updates and troubleshooting steps for common problems. Software and Drivers for HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec1032nw
- Rollback BIOS Update: If you're experiencing issues after updating the BIOS, and if your laptop allows it, you might consider rolling back to the previous BIOS version. However, you mentioned that this isn't possible in your case. If HP doesn't provide an official rollback option, attempting to manually downgrade the BIOS could potentially brick your laptop, so it's not recommended unless you're absolutely sure about the process.
- Hardware Diagnostics: Since you mentioned experiencing hardware hangs, it's possible that there could be underlying hardware issues unrelated to the BIOS update. HP laptops often come with built-in diagnostics tools that can help identify hardware problems. Running these diagnostics could provide valuable information about the health of your laptop's components. HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures

I hope this helps.

Welcome back
I checked the bios version as you stated in the instructions, but it is the same F.32, the bios I can't back out unfortunately as I said before, the errors with the microstutter are caused by services and I'm currently checking which service causes it, whether from HP or from some program.
The only solution to not bios from windows update will most likely be if you publish a new version of the bios, such as F.33 or some other, which can painful error resolved.
I installed the SDK package from your site today and we'll see if it does anything with it.

I thought I was the only one with the problem.
I once described a problem related to tpm 2.0 and it turned out that the AMD service service in the system is responsible for this and today I discovered it.
The very fact there must be a new bios update, I was just reading and quite a lot of vulnerabilities protect.
One more bug I found, but I think NVIDIA, AMD or windows is responsible. When I'm using the system, for example in the browser I'm looking for something, or updating a game at any given time the hardware crashes and shuts down and then turns on again, annoying unfortunately

there is no rollback for bios , we have tried all previous versions , if you could tell the engineers please ask them to fix 2 issues one is bios one and second is sometimes bios reports there is no battery , to fix it we have to switch off and hold it for 30 seconds
