I couldn't find a board for the question I have.  I purchased my computer from BJ's on 4-29-2020.  When I tried to register it, it automatically entered some information.  For instance it said the warranty expired on 3-22-2021.  I contested the warranty date and asked if it was a used or refurbished computer.  When they emailed me back they only said the information was updated and the warranty expired on 4-28-2021.  I have heard others say they received used or refurbished items and wonder if this could be the case.  If you could shed any light on this I would appreciate it.

No, did you buy from a retailer ? Some retailers register new machines when they put them to their shelves therefore the warranty may start from that date.

Sometimes, when buying online, warranty may start from the ordering date or the date when machine left the warehouse.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards.
