Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 6-cell 47WHr 2.2 Ah lithium-ion battery installed on the PC. Here is the part number: 710416-001 and its universal part you can purchase one from online store: https://www.amazon.in/Clublaptop-Pavilion-710416-001-Replacement-Warranty/dp/B01EFXX8FQ
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi
My issue is my battery seems to deplete rather quickly. How long should I expect it to last; longer than 2 hours?
My specs are:

I think I may need either a replacement or backup, if that's an option.
Thank you.

@JosOro
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
The average laptop battery is good for around 400 recharges cycles. After that, it starts to lose its capacity to hold a charge. This is about one and a half to three years of battery life for the average user. As the rechargeable battery begins to fail, the running time of the battery begins to decline.
Learn how to get the most service and life from your HP notebook battery by following these industry-wide suggested best practices.

@Echo_Lake
Thank you for the response.
I purchased this HP Notebook - 15-db0007cy from eBay, there is no service label on the bottom; so, I am having difficulty locating the serial number. I understand the warranty is long gone--that is no concern. I simply wish to get to know this laptop better so I can utilize it for years to come.
I looked up its battery specs in:
Maintenance and Service Guide_c04956181 which I was led to believe is the appropriate manual for this model.
It says:
Battery: 9-cell, 90-WHr, 2.635-AHr, li-ion battery 808452-002
When I look in Specs from:
https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/c06125317
It says:
Battery type 3-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion
Will this battery work?
https://www.battdepot.com/us/opn/notebook+battery/hp/808452-002/lhp346.aspx
I also DLed these PDF manuals thinking they apply to this model:
Automatic Firmware Intrusion Detection and Repair_c05163901
BIOS-UEFI Setup_c05166986
RAID User Guide_c05078942
Regulatory Safety Environmental_c06460537
Setup Overview_c04685655
Start Here_c04762415
WIN10 User Guide_c04959396
Can you tell me if they are correct?
I appreciate any and all information you can provide.
Thank you.

Thank you again Echo Lake for you response.
To solve some of my confusion: Did I DL the incorrect manuals for my model? I listed them previously. I found them at HP site coinciding with my model#. I suspected an error when the batteries listed in my Systems and the manual did not match.
SO, I went to https://store.hp.com/us/en/cv/batteryfinder to see about your advice. There is more confusion on my end. When shopping for a 3-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion, I see various options. I almost prefer shopping at HP store to ensure absolute compatibility; who enjoys having to return products because they either don't work properly or don't fit?
Is this the correct page for my model?
https://store.hp.com/wcsstore/hpusstore/Treatment/HP_Laptop_Compatibility_2011-2013.pdf
Is this the line item I want to examine?
HP15-d000 - HP15-d199
And, does it mean there are various options of compatibility?
It almost seems more prudent to open up the bottom of this unit and examine the battery myself. Which brings me to this point: there are 3 screws; another point of contention is that the manual I DLed says there should be 9 screws.
I'm such a newb, I apologize. I thought I DLed all the appropriate manuals according to my particular model. After all, it was the HP website where I found these manuals. How can I double check?
