Pavilion 13 i5 8265U
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the Pavilion 13, this computers product number is 4WJ36UA#ABA . It  comes with the RTL8821 driver, I have upgrades to the RTL8822be driver, this of course is the network adapter. Both of these adapters drop connection. I need to know if there is a replacement adapter. I have discovered recently that this has been an issue for years, its really sad that HP seems to make it a point to continue to use inferior products they know doesn't work.  Pretty sad that this is all we can expect from a multi-billion dollar corporation.

Hi:

There are newer wifi and Bluetooth drivers than what are listed on your notebook's support page.

Give those a try and see if they resolve the problem.

Restart the PC after installing the drivers.

Wifi Driver:

2024.0.8.107/2024.0.4.108 Jun 5, 2019

This package contains the DCHU driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8188EE, RTL8723BE, RTL8723DE, RTL8821CE, and RTL8822BE wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook and desktop models running a supported Windows 10 or Windows 10 Cloud operating system.

I completely agree with you regarding the widespread connection issues that both the 8821 and 8822 wifi adapters have, but I don't work for or represent HP.

I recommend that you address your concerns to the HP executive team at the link below...
