Hi @Tarmotanel,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
If you cannot find the XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) or DOCP (Direct OverClock Profile) option in your BIOS settings, there could be a few reasons for this:
Incompatibility:
- Your motherboard or BIOS might not support XMP or DOCP.
- The RAM modules you have may not have an XMP or DOCP profile.
Different Terminology:
- Some motherboards use different terminology for XMP or DOCP. Look for terms like "Memory Profile," "Memory Settings," or "DRAM Configuration." The specific wording can vary between motherboards.
Manual Configuration:
- In some cases, instead of enabling XMP/DOCP directly, you may need to manually configure the RAM settings, including frequency, timings, and voltage. This requires a good understanding of RAM specifications.
Memory Slot Configuration:
- Ensure that your RAM modules are installed in the correct slots as specified by your motherboard manual. Some motherboards may require specific slots for XMP to function properly.
If you have checked these possibilities and still cannot find the option, you may want to refer to phone support via remote assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
