HP Pen Control App

I bought my first mac three years ago. It always grated on me when people said that Macs just worked because they don't. Sometimes they crash, sometimes they have compatability problems. So I decided my next laptop would be an HP Spectre. A laptop I've since found doesn't come with a charger for the pen it is shipped with, or any software to support it. Sometimes the fan runs when it has been shut down for hours. I've made a terrible mistake

• Is this first-time setup on HP spectre laptop?

To get the answer to this question, HP Pen shipped with the battery, not with charger( HP doesn't require charger )
