I need to update the BIOS on an HP Pavilion 15-ab XXX. But HP has stopped rolling out BIOS updates. I have BIOS 17, where can I find later versions that fit?

Below are the info and exe file links to the latest BIOS updates HP released for the 15-abXXX notebooks:

 

15-abXXX AMD:

 

 F.54

The 15-abXXX AMD model series has a problem with later updates of W10 that is not fixed with a BIOS update.

 

If you ever get an 'ACPI BIOS' error, in order to solve that, you have to go into the BIOS>Security menu, find the TPM security device setting and change it from 'Available' to 'Hidden.'

 

Save the change, restart the PC and the error should be gone.
