Sorry, but this method does not suit me. I've tried it before but did not help ... I offer you another way which I suggested ...share with others.

I understand you are looking to update the Dolby Advanced Audio drivers for your HP Pavilion notebook. The drivers are not listed on the HP website. But I would suggest updating from the device manager. Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Press the Windows logo key + R to get the Run window.
- Type “devmgmt.msc” and press ok to get the Device manager.
- Expand “Sound, video, and game controllers and right-click on the audio driver and select ”Update Driver Software”.
- Now select “Search automatically for updated driver software” and follow the online instructions to updated the drivers.
- Restart the computer and then check the sound.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
