Hi @BarryAnil

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To update the Intel Integrated Graphics driver on your OMEN 16, follow the steps below using either HP’s driver package or Intel’s official updater.

This can help resolve Valorant launch issues linked to outdated or unstable graphics components.

Step-by-step: Update Intel Integrated Graphics Driver

Option 1: Use HP’s driver package for your OMEN 16

  1. Go to the HP Drivers & Software page
  2. Enter your full model name (e.g., OMEN 16-am0000)
  3. Select Windows 11 as your operating system
  4. Download the latest Intel Graphics Driver listed under Driver-Graphics
  5. Run the installer and follow on-screen instructions
  6. Restart your laptop after installation

This ensures compatibility with your OMEN’s firmware and thermal management.

Option 2: Use Intel’s automatic driver updater

  1. Visit the Intel Driver & Support Assistant
  2. Click Download now and install the tool
  3. Open the tool and let it scan your system
  4. If an update is available for Intel UHD or Iris Xe Graphics, click Download and Install
  5. Restart your system once complete

Intel’s updater may offer newer builds that resolve game-specific DLL errors like igd10iumd64.dll.

Additional tips for Valorant

After updating, open Valorant > Settings > Video > Graphics Card and ensure it’s using the dedicated NVIDIA GPU, not Intel

Disable Full Screen Optimization for Valorant.exe:

  • Right-click Valorant shortcut > Properties > Compatibility tab
  • Check Disable fullscreen optimizations
  • Click Apply

Run Valorant as administrator and ensure Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS if Riot Vanguard prompts for it

Let me know your exact OMEN 16 model if you’d like help locating the correct HP driver. Once the Intel driver is updated and Valorant is pointed to the right GPU, your game should launch smoothly and stay stable under load.
