Hi @Namithaa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can imagine how stressful it feels when you’re all set for your assessment, the room is quiet, your heart is racing, and then, bam!, SEB flashes that “multiple cameras found” error. It’s like hitting a wall right before the finish line, and we truly understand how important this moment is for you.

Let’s walk through the steps together to get you back on track:

Steps to Resolve “Multiple Cameras Found” on HP Devices

  1. Close Virtual Camera Apps
Sometimes apps like OBS or conferencing tools create virtual cameras that SEB detects. Make sure these are fully closed before starting your test.

  2. Check Device Manager for Hidden Cameras
    • Press Windows + XDevice Manager.
    • Click ViewShow hidden devices.
    • Expand Cameras or Imaging Devices.
    • If you see extra cameras (e.g., HP Wide Vision plus another), right-click and Disable or Uninstall the unnecessary ones.

  3. Review Camera Settings
    • Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
    • Ensure only SEB and essential apps have permission.

  4. Disable Conflicting Startup Apps
    • Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).
    • Under Startup, disable apps that might create virtual cameras.

  5. Restart Your HP Device
After making these changes, restart your PC so SEB detects only your primary HP camera.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
