hi sir 

I want to ask something it's about my fingerprint reader I can see I, fingerprint reader, in my EliteBook 850 g5 but windows hello say this method of unlocking the screen is unavailable 

can you please explain if its a driver problem if it is can you send me a link to download this driver

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with why the fingerprint reader isn't working.

 

The driver you need for it is this one...

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110001-110500/sp110163.exe

 

If that driver still doesn't ger the windows hello to work, you can install this software and see if you can enroll your fingerprint that way.
