Hi:

Are there any 'Unknown devices in the device manager indicating that the need drivers?

If so, please post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager (howtogeek.com)

So, there are no devices in the device manager that need drivers?

If not, the only suggestion I can offer would be to see if the W10 SimplePass fingerprint reader software works for you.

 This  software didn't work

Sorry, that didn't work for you.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with getting the fingerprint driver to work since you indicated that there are unknown devices in the device manager that need to have drivers installed.
