Tried using micro SD card reader. Does not work with multiple SD cards. Not discoverable in disk management and no driver exists in device manager. Tried to reinstall driver...Realtek card reader driver does not seem to support the current operating system version. No reason a 2 year old $2k laptop should lose functionality to unsupported drivers. Absolutely ridiculous. If anyone's figured out a solution to this problem please let me know.

Hi:
There are two types of Realtek SD card readers.
One is PCIe and the other is USB.
I don't know which type of SD card reader your notebook has, but here is the link to a much newer driver for the PCIe type.
