Hi @Nenad1526,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with installing MS office back on your Laptop.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
To reinstall Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, and other apps, on your HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop, you can follow these steps:
1. Sign in to Microsoft 365 Account:
You’ll need to have a Microsoft account associated with a Microsoft 365 subscription to reinstall the software. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to purchase a subscription or use a trial version.
- Visit the Microsoft 365 sign-in page.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
2. Download Microsoft 365:
After signing in, you can download the Office apps, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and others.
- Go to Microsoft 365 Download Page or directly to your account page at office.com.
- Once logged in, look for a section that says "Install Office".
- Click on Install Office to start the download.
3. Install Microsoft 365 Apps:
- After downloading the installer, open the file and follow the on-screen prompts.
- The installer will download and install Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other apps included with Microsoft 365 on your device.
4. Activate Microsoft 365:
- After installation, launch any Office app (such as Word or PowerPoint).
- You’ll be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft account again to activate the subscription.
5. Check for Updates:
Once installed, make sure you update your Office apps for the latest features and security patches.
- Open any Office app.
- Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to ensure the apps are up to date.
6. Verify Installation:
Open Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or any other Office app to confirm everything is installed and working as expected.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hello Irwin6,
Thank you for your answer. The proposed solution would not work since I was never able to turn on my laptop and sign in to my Microsoft account. Therefore the licence was never associated with my account. Is there another approach I can try?
Thanks,
Nenad
