Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Whenever I plug in charger it only displays red light and computer won't turn on. Battery hasn't been damaged. How to fix solution. I really like HP computers but the last 2 systems I bought has given me problems. Please help

Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. I reviewed the post regarding issues with the computer not charging or powering on. I will be glad to assist you here.

Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require information regarding this:

  • Was the computer dropped?
  • Did this happen after a power outage or surge?
  • How did the battery get damaged?
  • Please provide the complete model# of the computer to assist you correctly.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
