HP ProBook 6360b Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Probook 6360b with Windows 7 Pro installed. I've recently upgraded to an HP Elitebook and want to sell the 6360b. I've tried everything I can find on Google to reset it to factory settings but nothing works! I don't have the original disks as Win 7 Pro was preinstalled, I do have a label with the Software Key in the battery compartment.

The BEST solution is to remove the drive and sell the laptop without it.  New SSDs cost very little and the buyer can then install whatever Windows version they want.

If you give them this drive -- even if you FORMAT it -- it will STILL have all your personal and sensitive information on it.  And a factory reset only does a reformat -- so it also does not REMOVE your personal files and information.  Any half-decent data recovery tool costng $50 or less will be able to recovery ALL your personal information from the formatted drive.
