HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

At some point (I have no idea when) BEATS AUDIO uninstalled or deleted itself from my laptop.  I suspect this may have been after installing a Windows 10 update, but I have no way of knowing that. I do know that I never uninstalled or deleted this software.

What I need to know is how I go about reinstalling BEATS AUDIO on my laptop?

Hi:

You have a HP PAVILION DV6T-7000 CTO ENTERTAINMENT NOTEBOOK, which indeed does come with the Beats Audio system.

As you know, there are no W10 drivers for that model, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 IDT Beats Audio driver from a newer model notebook.   Restart the PC after installing the driver.

Hi:

The model you posted...Pavilion Slimline s5-1020 is not a notebook PC, and it did not come with the Beats audio.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Please do not post the serial number.

Thanks for the reponse.  However, I must tell you that my machine did come with BEATS AUDIO installed.  It even has the BEATS icon on the keypad .  But I figured out where the problem is: I don't know how 'Slimline Pavilion' crept into my original post, but my machine is actually a Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC. The System SKU is A3E83AV.
