Remap Omen key to Home

I've just purchased an HP Omen 15 

So far I'm really happy with it - except for one thing.

The keyboard layout.

It's supposed to be a UK layout, but just mapping the 2 & 3 keys to " & £ doesn't fix the missing left Ctrl Key and left Windows key (the one that works like a right click), to be replaced by on oversized |\ key, which, on a UK keyboard, should be to the left of the Z key, and the ~# key which has moved above the Enter key. 

Enforcing US keyboard layouts on everyone is something I expect from Apple, not regular laptops.

All this I can live with though, except for that 'Omen' key, which replaces the Home 'key'.

I write a lot of code, and the Home key is something I use a lot.

Yes, I know there is one on the Keypad, but I often want that in numeric mode - I don't want to have to toggle NumLock just to press Home.

The Omen app, on this model, does not do much - some stats and some networking config. It's not something I'm going to opening often.

So, in no way does it need a dedicated key - especially at the expence of the Home key.

So, how do I remap the Omen key back to 'Home'?

The other posts on this forum talk about using the programmable keys on the left - but this key board does not have those.

If the Omen app would be really useful, it would let you choose if you wanted a dedicated Omen or Home key, but it doesn't do this.

So please, will someone tell me how to get my Home key back - in its proper location?

Same for me, i need this Omen key to be back as home key.

This is ridiculous to have this key replacing a very important key on a keyboard. 

That omen key should have been something not usualy used on a normal day to day work.

I've got the Omen 17 and Sequencer keyboard and on both keyboard I am stuck with an useless key replacing a very important and widely used key.

But as far as I can see this request will be lost in translation somewhere....

They just don't care man. I contacted HP Support and they said "There's nothing we can do about this. It's the manufacturer". I thought you guys WERE the manufacturers!! The support guy said I should try to return the item now.

Same issue here. I am wondering who one earth thought this would be helpful to anyone!

I just subscribed to the forum only to vote up on this issue. Bring us the home key back now!!!

This is a computer.  Of course they can remap the keyboard one only needs the configuration data.  I wish they would not lie to us like we're idiots.  A lot of us are computer engineers and scientist.
